40,000 Felons Are Being Released Early
Every Governor since the 1960’s has promised to fix California’s prison system, but no one has delivered. And now our prisons are in crisis.
- Uncontrollable overcrowding
- Skyrocketing healthcare costs
- 70% recidivism rate
Because of so many years of inaction, a Federal Court has stepped in and ordered that California release 1/3 of its inmates early. That means 40,000 convicted felons are about to hit our streets.
