On 11/11/11 at about 2:30 p.m., Santa Barbara Police Tactical Patrol Force officers were patrolling on police bicycles in the area of Milpas Street and Quinientos Street.

The officers were flagged down by an employee from A-OK Mowers Inc. in regards to a theft of a chainsaw. Trio Accused In Murrieta Shoplift-Return Scheme

A Hesperia parolee who tried to break into a house but got scared off by the female homeowner was sentenced to four years in prison.

Claremont police arrested three San Bernardino men this morning after a resident saw them burglarize a truck in a driveway, police said.

Paul Pimentel, 18, a parolee, Richard Ramos, 26, and Vincent Gonzales, 27, were booked into jail on suspicion of burglary, said Claremont police Sgt. Aaron Fate.

Suspects steal TV, get caught in traffic

Two people, including a parolee, were arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing 22-inch TV from Walmart Supercenter in American Canyon through an emergency door at about 4:40 p.m. and driving away only to be caught by rush-hour traffic on Jameson Canyon Road, according to the American Canyon Police Department.

Clayton Sullivan, 29, of Sacramento, was seen allegedly seen taking the $267 TV and leaving the store in a white Pontiac waiting outside the store, American Canyon Police Chief Jean Donaldson said.

A parolee suspected of stealing air conditioning parts from a Lake Elsinore home Friday was caught when his bad driving caught the attention of sheriff’s deputies.

Police say that someone contacted them about a man who was parking his vehicle on Villa Circle, and repeatedly trespassing in a vacant residence located on the 280 block of Beach Road. 

When officers arrived they found an empty car that was reported stolen from the bay area. Police found stolen property from a burglary that happened in February inside the stolen car.

Parolee Arrested Shortly After Burglary and Foot Pursuit

A failure to yield on Highway 49 near Redbud early Friday morning escalated into a foot chase, and the eventual capture of a man now facing vehicle theft and residential burglary charges. Mountain authorities do not believe he acted alone.
