Watsonville parolee caught hiding gun
An 18-year-old parolee was found hiding a handgun under a mattress during a search, the County Gang Task Force reported.
About 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Gang Task Force members went to the home of 18-year-old Hulysis Martinez on the 900 block of Trafton Road near Watsonville in North Monterey County, said Gang Task Force Commander Mario Sulay. An officer noticed Martinez hide a loaded, 9mm semi-automatic handgun under a mattress, Sulay said. The gun was seized and found to be registered to someone else, Sulay said...
