STATEWIDE INCIDENTS - Ironwood State Prison reported about 17 Hispanic inmates were involved in 3 simultaneous and separate physical altercations on the Facility D, main yard. A Code 3 alarm was announced and staff responded utilizing OC pepper spray, CS scat rounds, side-handled baton and 40 mm direct impact rounds to quell the incident. Six inmates sustained superficial stab/slashing wounds. One inmate sustained severe stab wounds to the abdomen and was transported to Palo Verde Hospital for treatment.
