Police shoot, kill parolee - Suspect allegedly threatened girlfriend
A man was shot and killed Wednesday by police officers after he threatened his girlfriend with a gun and rammed a police vehicle, authorities said.
Jason Marcellus Martin, 37, of Desert Hot Springs was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds, Ontario police Sgt. David McBride said. He was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived.
The incident started a day earlier when Martin reportedly brought a gun to his girlfriend's residence in the 1000 block of East Sixth Street...
