Police nab parolee after robbery report
A 27-year-old parolee was arrested Saturday on suspicion of pulling a knife on two people in the 1700 block of West North Bear Creek Drive.
Police received a call from one of the victims shortly before 9:30 p.m., saying a possible robbery was in progress. After arriving at the scene, police arrested Ramon Oseguerra after determining he matched the suspect's description, according to Sgt. Bobby Chapman.
The victims, a man and a woman, told officers they were walking to a fast-food restaurant near North Highway 59 when they were approached from behind. Oseguerra pulled out a knife and demanded money, according to police...
