Parolee with assault rifle arrested in Eureka
Deputies arrested a McKinleyville parolee who was parked on a residential street in the Eureka area early Tuesday morning with a loaded Tec-9 assault style rifle, a loaded sawed off shotgun and a black ski cap in his vehicle.
Sheriff's deputies responded to Starland Court in Eureka after receiving a call at about 3 a.m. from a resident about a possible prowler in her backyard, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office...
