Parolee on lam falls out of tree after hit-and-run crash in Burbank
A parolee who allegedly fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash that led to the closure of the southbound 5 Freeway in Burbank was captured early Tuesday morning when he fell out of a tree in which he was hiding nearby.
Police began investigating reports of a man who had crashed his car on San Fernando Boulevard at the 5 Freeway entrance ramp and fleeing the scene on foot about 11:30 p.m. Monday...
