Parolee from Turlock was wanted in string of burglaries

UPDATE - Stanislaus County sheriff's officials this evening released the name of a parolee wanted for a string of burglaries who holed up in a mobile home in Keyes and surrendered after the SWAT team fired tear gas into the house. Paul Parmley, 35, of Turlock faces charges of violating his parole as well as evading a law enforcement officer during a chase.

A standoff in the town of Keyes between Stanislaus County Sheriff's deputies and a parolee wanted for felony evasion and burglary has ended.

The incident unfolded behind a home in the 5400 block of 8th Street near Lizzie Avenue where the suspect was hiding inside a trailer.
