Parolee arrested after pursuit, crash in stolen vehicle
A parolee was arrested at the end of a high-speed vehicle pursuit and short foot chase early Tuesday.
It started just after 11:30 p.m. when Kern County Sheriff's deputies received a report of a truck stolen from the Fastrip on the 200 block of Harrison and ended about 30 minutes later when the suspect wrecked the stolen vehicle and was arrested a short distance away while trying to escape on foot.
Anthony Lemler, 25, of Taft has been booked into the Kern County jail on numerous charges....
