Parolee arrested after police search
Amador County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested a parolee on Jackson Gate road and Highway 49 after an extensive search of the area, including air support from a California Highway Patrol helicopter.
A sergeant at the Amador County Jail could not release the name or any other information about the parolee on Friday, saying they would be unable to provide the public information before Monday.
The search for the unnamed suspect ended in a takedown in the middle of the intersection of Highway 49 and Jackson Gate Road. Officers responding to an earlier call learned that the parolee at large had been at that location and had started down Jackson Gate Road toward Jackson...
