Parolee arrested after citizen calls tip line
A California state parolee was arrested Wednesday after a citizen called the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office tip hotline to report the his whereabouts.
A citizen called the tip line at 8 a.m. to report that Larry Shawn Johnson, 38, was living in Room 10 at the Fields Landing Hotel. The tipster stated the parolee was preparing to flee to Arkansas, according to a press release from the sheriff's office....
