Livermore explosives scare fades quickly
A Livermore parolee was found with two explosive devices at his home Saturday, prompting a residential evacuation, but he likely had no intent to use them maliciously, police said.
"By all indications, he had no idea what he was doing," said officer Steven Goard, a spokesman for the Livermore Police Department. "The officers got the feeling he was looking to make one big giant firework so everyone would think he was cool..."
