Fairfield K-9 nabs hit-and-run suspect
For the second time in five days, the Fairfield Police Department K-9 unit has been doing its part to take a bite out of crime -- the most recent incident taking place early Monday morning with the apprehension of a Fairfield parolee wanted in connection to a hit and run with a stolen vehicle.
Jeremy Laird, 35, was taken into custody by Fairfield Police after a manhunt that ended with an up close and personal encounter between Laird and Kargo, one of the department's four-legged enforcers...
