DA: 5 gang members arrested in prison drug plot
California's attorney general says five reputed members of a Northern California white supremacist gang have been arrested for allegedly smuggling heroin-spiked envelopes into a state prison.
Attorney General Kamala Harris said three envelopes mailed to inmates at Susanville State Prison had nearly a gram of heroin hidden inside their glue strips.
She says the drug is worth $500 per gram inside prison, where it was allegedly used by members of the New Order gang as barter for other contraband or to curry favor with other gangs...
