CCPOA Retired Chapter Membership
Retired Chapter Information and Package
- Call CCPOA Headquarters (800) 821-6443 and ask for the membership department. Or download the Retired Chapter Application form. (updated 12/13/11)
- Retired membership dues are $10.00 monthly deducted from your PERS warrant.
- You may apply for membership just prior to, or anytime after retirement.
Contact the CCPOA Benefit Trust for insurance program(s) and questions at (800) 468-6486(a menu driven telephone and voice mail system) or, (888)779-6327 to by-pass the menu.
Retired Chapter members are entitled to:
- $20,000 base life, $10,000 for spouse. Upon the retired member attaining age 75 the benefit reduces to $10,000 and spouse coverage reduces to $5,000.(* you must apply for membership within 90 days of retirement, or there will be a one [1] year wait for this membership insurance).
CCPOA BTF Voluntary Programs are as follows:
- Supplemental "Piggyback" dental/vision/hearing aid program.
- CCPOA Medical Plan(Blue Shield).
- Retiree Vision Plan Retired Accidental Death and Dismemberment
- Retired Senior Term Life Program
- Retiree Legal Plan
- Supplemental Term Life - Effective 6/1/07 active members "currently participating" in the Supplemental Term Life program "may" elect to carry this insurance into the CCPOA "Retired Chapter".
