The officer continued to chase the inmate attached to the car. A civilian male in a truck asked the officer if he needed help, so the officer got into the vehicle and continued to follow the inmate. The vehicle eventually stopped, the female driver ran from the vehicle and the inmate attempted to get into the driver's seat, as the officer got out of the truck and ran toward the inmate. At the same time, a civilian male rammed his motorcycle into the opened driver's side door. The officer then pulled the inmate from the vehicle and onto the ground. The inmate continued to resist, so the officer applied pepper spray to the inmate's face. The officer gained control of the inmate and he was handcuffed.
