April 2011
April 3 – The ISU concluded a narcotic investigation which resulted in the arrest of a visitor. The visitor was discovered in possession of approximately 5.2 grams of marijuana. The visitor was transported to the Riverside County Jail.
November 2010
November 2 – Ten inmates were involved in a riot which broke out in the TV game room inside a dormitory housing 100 inmates. Officers stopped the riot using pepper spray.
March 2010
MARCH 10 -- Black inmates and Samoan inmates were involved in a riot on the main yard. An officer called for a Code 2 response. All inmates were ordered to the ground. Code Responders identified the combatants and systematically returned all non-involved inmates to their dorms. Eleven inmates identified as being involved in the incident were placed in Ad Seg at the California Institution for Men in Chino.
December 2009
December 5 – An inmate became violent during an escort. The inmate kicked an officer in the shin. Physical force was used to gain compliance and was then escorted to the program office. The officer received minor injuries.
April 2008
April 13 - Two inmates battered another inmate. Responding staff used OC pepper spray to stop the attack. The two inmates were transferred to California Institution for Men. The third inmate was placed on contraband watch and is pending transfer to CIM. No staff injuries were reported.
March 2008
March 27 - During a clothed body search, an inmate assaulted an Officer. The inmate struck the Officer's face and chest. The inmate was restrained by responding staff.
March 20 - Staff observed fighting between three Southern Hispanic inmates, which resulted in the use of OC pepper spray. The victim inmate was treated at an outside hospital, while the two assailants were placed on contraband watch pending transfers to the California Institution for Men.
January 2008
January 14 - In a stairwell two inmates attacked a third inmate who sustained facial injuries. The inmate who was attacked was transported to an outside hospital for evaluation and later transferred to the California Institution for Men. Both attackers were also transferred to CIM.
