May 14 – An inmate battered an officer in the dining officer’s station by throwing a cup, striking the officer’s shoulder. The inmate was placed in ASU.

January 2010
January 31 – As an officer approached a cell to pick up the morning meal food trays, an inmate started to walk toward the cell door with the tray in one hand and a cup containing hot coffee in the other. The inmate then threw the contents of the cup through the food port, striking the officer in the leg. The inmate threw the food tray through the port. The officer immediately closed the food port and reported the incident.
January 2 – An inmate approached a licensed psych tech who was conducting the EOP Medication Line, and threw an unknown liquid substance on him, striking him in the chest. An officer activated his personal alarm and placed the inmate in restraints without further incident.
September 2009
September 6 - Two officers were approaching a solely occupied cell and placed her in restrains so that they could escort the inmate to the shower. Once in the shower, the inmate spit at one of the officers striking her in the face, shoulder, arm and chest area. The officer was sent to the ER and a blood borne pathogen exposure assessment was conducted on her.
February 2008
February 22 - An inmate housed in Administrative Segregation battered a Correctional Officer with an unknown liquid through the food port. The liquid struck the Officer in the face and chest area.
February 9 - Two inmates on the ASU exercise yard began to engage in mutual combat. Staff's verbal commands were ignored and the inmates continued to fight. Staff utilized an OC grenade, three 37 mm multiple baton rounds and a CN grenade to stop the fighting.
January 2008
January 12 - An inmate struck an officer in the chest with her fist after becoming disruptive in the medical clinic. Another CCWF inmate threw an unknown liquid on two officers in the Administrative Segregation Unit (ASU). Also in ASU, a different inmate "gassed" three separate staff with a liquid that had a "sewer-like" odor
