April 2 – An officer picked up the phone to call in his count and when he placed the receiver to his ear he realized it was contaminated with an unknown substance with the appearance of fecal matter. The officer was taken to medical and subsequently returned to duty.
May 2009
May 3 - An officer was conducting an unclothed body search when the inmate ran out of the office, striking another officer in the chest. The officer pushed the inmate back in order to maintain his balance. The inmate then charged the officer a second time striking the officer in the chest causing the officer to stumbled backwards. The officer ordered the inmate to stop and get on the ground, but the inmate continued to try to pull away and run. The first officer wrapped both arms around the inmate but the inmate continued to struggle as both the inmate and the officer fell to the ground. The second officer activated his personal alarm and ordered the inmate to get into a prone position. The inmate continued to struggle but eventually complied once the second officer applied pressure to the inmate's back.
