MISSIONThe mission of the Legislative Department of CCPOA is to educate, coordinate and serve as a liaison between the membership and the Legislature. We strive to be responsive to the changing needs as well as committed to protecting the interest of our membership. VISION The Legislative Department of CCPOA is to support the California Legislature in its continued effort to provide a safe and secure working environment for our peace officers. Through the legislative process we will encourage and support technological advances and continual training to enhance our effectiveness and to provide the safest possible environment for all employees we represent. We continue to meet the changing needs of our members by staying competitive in order to retain and attract motivated and career oriented professional personnel. We will be pro-active in identifying problems and finding solutions with the help of the Legislature.
