CCPOA & PEACEKeeper Magazine Presents: California Pens :: Valley State Prison for Women (VSPW)March 2 - An inmate hit an Officer after refusing to sit on a bench while her cell was being cleaned. The inmate pushed the Officer. Both began to struggle and fell to the floor. The inmate kicked, scratched and attempted to bite and punch the Officer. Responding staff drew his baton and ordered the inmate to stop with negative results. Upon raising his baton, the Officer ordered the inmate to stop again; to which she complied. The Officer had scratches. January 21 - An inmate, who was allegedly intoxicated, battered another inmate breaking her victims tooth. |
