CCPOA & PEACEKeeper Magazine Presents: California Pens :: California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (CSATF)January 24 - After alerting staff by banging on his cell door an inmate ran out of a cell bleeding from his upper body. The inmate's cellmate had attacked him with a stabbing weapon. The injured inmate was transported to an outside hospital with puncture wounds to the head, face, neck and back. January 21 - An inmate was transported to a Fresno hospital after being attacked by three other inmates and slashed on the left side of his face. On the same day at CSATF an inmate was stabbed while on the dayroom of his housing unit. This inmate was also transported to an outside hospital. January 16 - On a recreation yard two inmates, who appeared to be intoxicated, attacked a correctional officer and a counselor inflicting minor injuries. |
