CCPOA recently concluded meeting with the state regarding Post and Bid cycles for Correctional Counselors. Currently, there is no consistency in either the length of the Bid Terms or the timing of the bids. I have attached a chart showing the current and new bid cycles per institution. The state has noticed CCPOA that CCI Post and Bid will be brought into conformity with the current Post and Bid Cycle for Correctional Officers. Therefore, the next Post and Bid for CCIs will occur in January 2011. The bid cycles for all CCIs statewide will be for a three-year period. There will be no new Post and Bid for CCIs prior to January 2011.
